To eradicate cockroach problems, the source of the infestation has to be eliminated. Gel baits are often used for this purpose, especially for German cockroach management. However, bait aversion can occur when using the same or similar products repeatedly in the same account. To prevent bait aversion, you need to diversify your plan off attack. In addition to rotating gel baits with different actives and attractants, you should also include granular baits in your indoor cockroach control program. While granular baits are commonly used outdoors for large cockroach control, they are also an effective solution indoors.
Granular baits, such as Rockwell’s InVict Xpress Granular Bait and InTice 10 Perimeter Bait, offer several advantages that make them an ideal solution for cockroach control:
InVict Xpress Granular Bait contains .5% imidacloprid for lightning-fast control of cockroaches and other crawling insects. It starts killing in one hour, making it ideal for accounts with active infestations where immediate results are needed. Its proprietary bait matrix contains multiple food attractants, making it irresistible to cockroaches. It is a non-repellent bait, so insects will not be chased away.
Application Tips:
Focus your application in areas where insects or their signs are seen. Up to .5 oz of bait can be applied to cracks, crevices, and voids, or bait can be applied at a rate of .5 oz per 100 sq ft using a hand shaker or duster. Granules should be placed in areas inaccessible to children and pets or in tamper-resistant bait stations. You can reapply the bait after one week if there is still cockroach activity.

Apply bait at a rate of 3 oz per 100 sq ft using a hand shaker or duster. For crack and crevice treatment, apply 1-3 puffs per linear ft with a duster. In attics and crawlspaces, a power duster may be used to apply bait. If the infestation is still present after a week, you can reapply the bait.

Because InTice 10 is weather-resistant, it is ideal for use in damp areas indoors.
