Chris Iglesias, the Florida & Caribbean Technical Representative for Rockwell Labs, recently earned his ACE (Associate Certified Entomologist) Certification from the Entomological Society of America. ACE certification has become the benchmark for professionalism in the pest management industry and is endorsed by the National Pest Management Association.
Chris has 18 years of experience in the industry and has been a part of the Rockwell team since 2022. His knowledge and experience encompass multiple aspects of the industry including both service and distribution. Earning his ACE Certification shows his dedication and desire to learn, ensuring he can continue to excel at supporting his customers.
To become ACE certified, there are several requirements that must be met including:
The exam covers topics such as basic entomology, ecological principles, integrated pest management (IPM) principles, pesticide technology and resources, organizations and associations of significance to the industry, and laws and regulations that affect the industry. Earning an ACE certification demonstrates that the individual has a proven understanding of these topics. It is a great accomplishment that should be celebrated.
