InVade Power Dose Benefits & How It Works

Commercial facilities, like food processing plants and restaurants, face challenges with chronic moisture and organic matter build-up that can lead to sanitation problems. A bio sanitation program can help to combat the build-up of organic matter and odors in these facilities. Rockwell’s InVade Bio Sanitation product line utilizes naturally-occurring soil microbes to digest organic matter and eliminate odors. The industry-leading bio sanitation products are formulated to work in a wide range of treatment scenarios to handle virtually any commercial sanitation needs in areas with chronic moisture and organic matter. Our InVade Power Dose is a perfect solution to address drain lines that need continuous dosing treatments of microbial solution to eliminate organic build-up and odors.

Benefits of Using InVade Power Dose

The InVade Power Dose dispenser injection system delivers a metered dose of concentrated microbial solution to drain lines for a continual microbial presence in treated drain lines, maximizing the microbial effectiveness. InVade Power Dose provides many benefits, making it a great addition to bio sanitation programs.

  • Contains Highly Concentrated Microbial Solution: The premium, natural microbes digest organic matter including fats, oils, and grease, as well as other food. The microbe spores activate when in contact with their food source, the organic debris.
  • Easy-to-Install Dispenser: The InVade Power Dose dispenser is easy to install. The compact-size dispenser allows for flexible installation close to where drain treatment is needed. The dispenser requires a 9-inch clearance for the door to open for servicing.
  • Easy to Program: Programming the cycle days is easy to do following the enclosed instruction sheet. A 30-day programmed cycle will dispense a metered dose of the concentrated solution every 14 minutes.
  • Easy-to-Replace Cartridge: The 10 oz cartridge is easy to replace, making servicing the dispenser units simple and quick. A full cartridge holds approximately a 30-day dosing supply of microbial solution.
  • Won’t Harm Septic Systems: The concentrated microbial solution contains no harsh chemicals or fumes. It will not harm septic systems or municipal water treatment operations. InVade Power Dose is also suitable for green service programs.

Where to Use InVade Power Dose

InVade Power Dose is designed for commercial applications in food service facilities such as commercial kitchens and food processing facilities. It can also be used for professionally serviced residential drain lines and other appropriate drain lines where organic build-up is a continuous problem.

How to Set Up InVade Power Dose

The dispenser can be mounted to the wall using the adhesive pad and/or the screws provided. After mounting the dispenser, you can install the drip tube. With the included hardware, it is easy to install in both an open air gap drain (drips directly into an existing open drain) or a closed drain (drip tube goes directly into a drain line that is accessed by drilling a hole in the line and using the included hardware). Do not drill into a cast iron drain line as it will crack. For optimal results, the InVade Power Dose unit should be installed in drain lines and/or drains with daily water flow. Make sure the unit is installed outside of splash zones.

To operate the dispenser, you will need to insert 2 “C” batteries (not included) into the unit. Press the green actuator adapter onto the cartridge and slide the cartridge into the dispenser while pressing both the cartridge and green adapter securely into place. A beep will sound once the cartridge is securely in place. Press the red power button and then press the black enter button to cycle the dispenser until you see liquid exit the bottom of the dispenser. Press the green quick button until the LCD displays 30, which indicates that the dispenser is set for a 30-day cycle. Close the cover to lock the unit.

How to Replace the InVade Power Dose Cartridge

Cartridges will need to be replaced monthly. After removing the old cartridge, you will want to gently shake the new cartridge. Turn the dispenser OFF. Place the cartridge into the dispenser, aligning the actuator tip inside the dispensing tube. Position the collar of the cartridge into the bracket of the dispenser. Gently press it into place. Turn the dispenser to ON.

When replacing the cartridge, check the drip tube to make sure it is still secure at the injection point and it has not come loose. You will also want to ensure that there are no blockages.

A Perfect Add-On Sales Opportunity

The InVade Power Dose system provides pest management professionals the perfect add-on sales opportunity since it is a great addition to a bio sanitation service program, especially in challenging situations where incorporating a continuous, programmable microbial dosing device would be recommended for problematic drain lines. A PMP can charge their clients for each dosing station installed, along with a monthly charge for the replacement of the Power Dose cartridge.

The presence of organic matter and chronic moisture can be challenging in commercial facilities. A bio sanitation program can provide an effective green solution for these sanitation concerns. With its continuous dosing treatments of microbial solution and ease of use, Rockwell’s InVade Power Dose is a great addition to any bio sanitation service program to help eliminate organic build-up and odors in drain lines.
